The eggs are separated at a large plant by machinery. We use the whites, and the yolks go to different manufacturers (to be used in cakes or mayonnaise, for example). So rest assured that nothing is wasted!

Our hens are free to roam (which means they are happy!).
Can two chicks free range liquid egg white be frozen?
The product can be frozen on day of purchase for up to two years. It should be defrosted in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. However, bear in mind that freezing will cause the whisking property to be reduced.
Why is the egg white pasteurised?
For your safety and usability two chicks free range liquid egg white is lightly pasteurised.
How is the egg white pasteurised?
The egg white runs through a series of heated tubes, just hot enough to kill bacteria but not so hot as to cook the eggs. This in no way affects the nutritional value of the egg white in any way.
